100 000 white cells, 80% of which myeloblasts.
- Bone marrow, massively hypercellular given the patient’s age.
- extensive infiltration by blast cells negative for chloracetatesterase, replacing comepletely the normal hematopoiesis.
- Zytogenetics showed a translocation t(2;5) indicating an intermediate risk for this acute myeloid leukemia.
