- Tumour diffusely extending to the striated muscle tissue and to the resection margin
- Characteristic cribriform, partially tubular architecture
- Pseudocystic spaces filled with alcian blue positive (not shown here) mucoid or hyaline eosinophilic material
- These spaces are surrounded by small monomorphous, elongated cells with dense chromatin
- Typical infiltration of the perineural border (PNI)
